Area Communities » Annoyed by new hotel

Hey this is "oceanmomer" I came up with a new name btw because my name is supposed to show up as "oceanmoments." Anyway besides the point, In response to RD, I definitely agree that they have the right to do whatever they want with the property, it just shocked me that considering that putters always seemed to have a lot of people there, that they would tear it down to put up a hotel, when I'm almost certain they have other land in which they could have done it. I'm surprised they wouldn't want to keep it AND have the hotel. As far as I know about the mini-putt at the comfort inn, I've never been, but I heard it's really hard. I went by there last night and it's also really overgrown...

Another point about the wind towers: My fiance just mentioned to me that the new field being put up in I believe Altona is going to partially benefit our area...

honestly I love the view of the windtowers. I traveled through there earlier this summer and found them to be breathtaking. Although the area may not see a lot of the positives of them because some of the power is benefiting other areas, I think we need to see the bigger picture and realize it's a eco-friendly form of power and by our area doing our bit to help I think is a great thing. I also read somewhere, although I can't remember where, that our area has the highest amount of wind towers and are producing the most power than any other area in the country. I think we should be proud.
