What a beautiful weekend! I had decided to go to Burlington for the day. I drive up to the ferry pay booth and for my tiny car with two people it cost me $24.50 round trip. That's a whole tank of gas... I was quite irritated but didn't let the fact that this was a total rip-off ruin the beautiful day.

I have decided to never take the ferry again until a bridge is built. That's a sure pipe-dream! Just think of all the possibilities a bridge crossing could have. They are endless..

The drive is not much longer up to the Champlain bridge and I will save some money, but not time. The ride is nice anyway.

What would be neat is: If we had a walk on, high speed transportation boat between Plattsburgh and Burlington. Plattsburgh could use business and I think it's a great idea. What do you think?
