Thanks Rich. Profiles, including avatars, will be up this week. So will the chat. I'm not sure what causes the jump to the top. You're right though it is pretty annoying now that you metion it. I'll see what I ca do to fix it.

A few suggestions...

1.  Quote function - in replying to a particular poster's comments.  Pretty standard on most messaging forums.

2.  Member blogs/Profile.  It would be nice to have our own blogs.  And an actual profile page that we can customize.  Avatars would be great too.

3.  Built in Chat.

Just a few ideas... and one question:

Why is it that when I press "return" in this "post a reply" field that the entire page scrolls up?  I use Firefox, and I gotta tell ya...it's a bit annoying.

All in all though, nice job so far.  I'm enjoying what people have to say about...well...anything!

Matt, I hope copiousmoon has bookmarked the site to return at a later date.  I see more and more names added to commutity postings every day!

I'd like to see a forum added for "Area Communities" or something similar.  I see that anything not specifically fitting into one of your forums ends up falling into the "Alternative News" forum.  It would be nice to be able to comment on issues in surrounding areas that don't fall into the slot of the burgh, city govt., outdoors, or sustainability. 

For lack of forum, I'd like to congratulate the local high school grads and wish them all the best in the face of so many decisions!

copiousmoon, This venture is only 20 days old. We are working as hard as we can to add all the features you mention. It takes many hours for a couple people to develop a site and start a business and market it and bring you all the content that we are, for free. This site has already helped a number of bands and businesses. It will only get better.

I really disagree with copiousmoon.  Don't mess up a simple easy forum by complicating it with too many features.  Some of us just want to make our contribution to the community through an easy format forum and find out what's going on in and around the area (and add to it).  I personally, am not here for music, videos, or pictures.  I'm here for the commentary and as soon as it gets too complicated, I will be gone.

I don't think so, You can't even create your own profile, you can't add your own videos, you can't comment on videos, I can't upload pictures to the forums, The radio was cool when someone was there, now it's just song after song. I didn't want to sign up but I did to vent.

There you go PIPELINE! Great Idea, poor features for us users.
