The Strand

The Strand Theatre was built in 1924 as a vaudville style performance venue. In 2004, the North Country Cultural Center for the Arts purchased this historic facility with the intention of restoring it to its former grandeur and creating a true performing arts center that residents and visitors could enjoy for many years to come. Currently under construction, the NCCCA encourages the public to get excited and involved with the project through volunteerism, donations, promotion, etc. For more information, or to schedule a tour of the facility, contact the NCCCA at 563-1604.
