This is my first time visiting this site, and already I LOVE IT!  I've signed up and I've been doing a lot of reading and a lot of posting/comments.  I do have a couple of requests.  First of all, it seems to me that it reads backwards.  The latest postings should be first - it's difficult to follow what's going on until you get used to it.  The other is for a "back to" button.  After posting a comment, it would be nice to be able to go back to the other forum topics without having to go through the browser's back button a few times.  Thanks for listening. I really am very happy that this site exists and seems to be a good decent forum.  Hope it thrives and grows!

Hey thanks! Good suggestions. As the web developer here i always like to get feedback from people. I will get right on adding the breadcrumb navigation to the tops of the forum posts so you can get back easily. Should be up by tomorrow.

A few suggestions...

1.  Quote function - in replying to a particular poster's comments.  Pretty standard on most messaging forums.

2.  Member blogs/Profile.  It would be nice to have our own blogs.  And an actual profile page that we can customize.  Avatars would be great too.

3.  Built in Chat.

Just a few ideas... and one question:

Why is it that when I press "return" in this "post a reply" field that the entire page scrolls up?  I use Firefox, and I gotta tell ya...it's a bit annoying.

All in all though, nice job so far.  I'm enjoying what people have to say about...well...anything!

Thanks Rich. Profiles, including avatars, will be up this week. So will the chat. I'm not sure what causes the jump to the top. You're right though it is pretty annoying now that you metion it. I'll see what I ca do to fix it.

I like Rich's suggestions! How about a sports section of RSS feeds?

Like your local news tab.

My boyfriend thinks the sports section idea is cool.  I think being able to make your own profile is even cooler.

I will browse the web for sports RSS FEEDS.  If anyone has some good ones, please post them here so we can add them in.

It might be a cool idea to have local sports teams from area schools and little leagues to be able to post their rosters and scores on a section here.
