if anyone knows this please post it... it would be a nice addition to the community events calendar

Hello Everybody, I have some information for you, They don't have a calendar on line anywhere but I did find out that city meetings are held weekly at City Hall, Across from the MacDonough Monument, downtown Plattsburgh. 

6 pm on Thursdays!

Open to the public?

Yes, the meetings should be open to the public.

Common Council meetings are generally held each Thursday at 6pm.  The exceptions would be holiday Thursdays.  The meetings are open to the public and in fact I believe that each meeting has a public Q&A segment.  I also believe there is a private session if necessary but normally the public is encouraged to get involved.

Why are the meetings held during a time when most families are having dinner together?

The Common Council meeting will be held Wednesday instead of Thursday because of the holiday weekend. The time will still be 6 p.m for the meeting. A work session will begin at 5 p.m.

Public is encouraged to join the meeting at 5 p.m. through 6 p.m.
