the governor has to up things to justify inc in welfare payments also who pays for this! senator little wanted to introduce the bill where  taxes would be based on income in n country! you would have to live in home for 5 yrs. of course wealthry dont want that! why should seniors  loose their homes due to taxes! deplorable situation!!!

the realtors downplay this too and they are wrong and greedy! the taxes inc the monthly mortgage payment also what they dont realize! we tried to buy another home which we could afford but add another 300-400  a month taxes! new york is hurting them selves and loosing alot of good people! thank you for your article!

amen tom! how about incentive to new yorkers that support the communities!!! the businesses come in from cananda and we pay for it! az is bad re taxing pensions also but property taxes are much lower right now but other things are expensive! we were told since w elive here az has the right to tax our pension form ny! this is wrong too! i told the tax ofc we pay taxes and support the community here! many  people come here and feel the same way. without retirees az would losse billions! we should not be taxed on pensions! so every state is a mess! all we can do is hope new york will wake up! mrs rivers
