The Austrian School of Economics.

www.mises.org is the center for all information regarding economics for the rest of us. I discovered the Mises website through my research on Ron Paul 3 years or so ago.

Economics is boring, at least you would think. The dismal science it is so often called. It is, however interesting if you find the right spark ignite some curiosity. For me it was the Fed and its ability to issue money and credit out of the clear blue sky. I also was amazed at the clarity of the economists, historians, scholars and professors at the Ludwig von Mises institute and their ability to drive home the history of the ideas of liberty and the austrian school. I learn a great deal from this site on a daily basis through all the resources it offers. There are a few videos that were able to really get me thinking and I will list them here for you get started on this is by no means a definitive list and should be used as a starting point to enlightenment:

Ron Paul [Economics]

Dr. Mark Thornton [Economics]

Professor Walter Block [Economics]

Dr. Thomas Woods [History]

Judge Andrew Napolitano [Law]

Professor Ralph Raico (SUNY Buffalo) [History]

Murray Rothbard [Everything]
