I'd like to thank my neighbor down the road for being considerate with his noisy motorcycle.  This is not sarcasm.  I'm seriously grateful that although his motorcycle is loud, especially when initially started (which I realize is unavoidable), he refrains from revving it up while in the neighborhood.  I only hope that by bringing attention to those who are doing the right thing, others will follow the example.

And just look at how many scooters are on the roads now!  For those of us who need a vehicle for transportation to work, what a good alternative in the warmer months.
