Pages

It's getting to be an effort to read the latest posting to a topic that's several pages long.  I'm always curious, but don't always have time to go through each page.  Shouldn't the latest post go above the last each time, so the older posts would be in the older pages, and the latest posts would be at the top?

Also, maybe it's due to construction, but I'm now having to use the browser's back button to return after posting, viewing, etc.

Forums/discussion boards are generally ordered from oldest to most recent.. that way a new person to the conversation or somone coming across an old discussion can read it from start to finish in a natural way. also, people aren't always following the threads up to the minute so it is more difficult to browse backwards and find where you left off.

You're right, the breadcrumb nav got lost... i will add it back right away.

The RSS Feed is a wonderful tool to keep up on the latest postings in the forums.  Firefox has its own built-in reader (Live Bookmarks).  I use it and its grrreat!

Well, Matt, the breadcrumb will really help with that then.  As it is now, I'm having to hit the back button, wait, hit it again, wait, then again, wait . . .  So far, the community forum is the only thing keeping me coming back.  Hope it stays!

By the way, are you going back to tabs at the top of the page or keeping the long list format that's there now?  Seems like you wouldn't want that to take up the whole page on every page you open . . .

It actually is Tabs... you must be using an older browser that isn't rendering it correctly. Try downloading Firefox 3 from http://mozilla.com . It is a standards compliant browser that is much more secure than IE.

Thanks Matt, I guess I'll just keep dealing with it like it is for now.  Can't download here.

Since you are such a loyal pipeliner I will work now on making it look better in IE6 ;)

Again - Thanks Matt.  I added a comment to the "review" section of the events calendar, but didn't see where to rate it with stars...my browser again?

sure is... i fixed the tabs issue.. there are still a LOT of little bugs in IE..

Well, maybe I'm in an older version of IE ?  Surely I can't be the only one here who is using IE.  It's the most common browser . . .
