My good friend Jane sent this to me:
I remember years ago when people used to
joke: "The Constitution says you have the right to petition the government
for redress of your grievances, but it doesn't say the government has to respond
to you. Ha, ha, ha." Then about 7 years ago, I heard myself
saying to people, " The Constitution might give us the right to vote, but
it doesn't say our votes have to be counted. Ha, ha, ha."
Well, it's now confirmed--both of those jokes
