About the Event
The market, held at the Church of the Nazarene at 187 Broad St., is open from 2 to 6 p.m. every Thursday from June 19 through Oct. 2.
The market will feature grass-fed beef, pastured pork, free-range chicken and eggs, fresh organic and other vegetables, berries, fruits, cow and goat cheese, maple syrup, maple cream and maple sugar, honey, bedding plants and fresh-cut flowers.
Three vendors will be preparing ready-to-eat foods this year.
The Farmers Green Market focuses on wholesome, high-quality food, direct from the producer to the consumer.

Vendors for 2008 include All Fired Up, Chateaugay; Atwood Maple Products, West Chazy; Campbell's Greenhouse, Saranac; Clover Mead Farm, Chesterfield; Conroys Organics, Beekmantown; Kim & Gharan's Goodies, Plattsburgh; Lakes End Cheeses, Alburgh, Vt.; Northern Orchards, Peru; and Rehoboth Homestead, Peru.
