“ROLLER DERBY & ROCKIN' ROLL”
Plattsburgh, NY – Plattsburgh’s roller derby team, The North Country Lumber Jills, is hosting a live performance by local area bands, highlighting Lucid. “Roller Derby & Rockin' Roll” will take place on Saturday, April 16, 2011. The team has arranged the event in support of the continued efforts to introduce Roller Derby to the North Country.

If you haven’t heard about “The Grift,” then you have a lot to learn about this band. The Grift is a trio based in Burlington VT., that plays the Plattsburgh area from time to time, most recently performing an Allman Brothers tribute at the Monopole.

Foster McGinty is a featured musician on Plattsburgh Pipeline Radio who has been playing music for years. His musical career really took off when he moved to New York City in the fall of 2006. McGinty writes his own lyrics and music, which are drawn from his everyday experiences.

When Phil is not playing alone, he is joined by Wayne Davison on sax, Will Patton on Mandolin, and Sean Fitzpatrick on drums
