PLATTSBURGH, NY (Sept. 09, 2010) ___The North
Country Small Business Development Center (SBDC), is offering a seminar
in Malone for those who are interested in starting a business in New
York State. The seminar, scheduled for September
20 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Malone, is sponsored in part by
the Malone Chamber of Commerce will be held at North Country Community
College’s Cornell building at 75 William Street, Malone.
Presented by Andy
Allison, Certified SBDC Business Advisor, this seminar will discuss the
steps necessary to start a business, including answering such questions
as "Is my business idea really feasible?" and "Can I
really make money with my business idea, and how much?”
Prospective business owners will learn the
basics of business and the risks and rewards of being a business owner
through discussions about owner responsibilities, decisions facing a
business owner and the challenges of becoming a successful
entrepreneur. The seminar is open and free to the
