Luckier Than A Four-Leaf Clover, I’ve Found My Free Cab Ride Home!
Martin, Harding and Mazzotti to offer free cab rides on St. Patrick’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day Safe Ride Home, 1800-LAW-1010 Program
Tuesday, March 17, 2009 – Wednesday, March 18, 2009
This St. Patrick’s Day, Plattsburgh has no intention to purposely dye Lake Champlain green like our friends in Chicago. Nonetheless, citizens of all nationalities across Plattsburgh will be celebrating the Irish holiday at restaurants, bars, taverns and family and friends’ parties.
Continuing in their campaign to reduce the tragic consequences of drunk driving, Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, LLP, will once again offer free cab rides to those in Plattsburgh celebrating St. Patrick’s Day who may have had a few too many green beers.
“While St. Patrick’s Day is a renowned joyous time throughout our area, we understand the consequences of drinking and driving may not always be on the minds of those celebrating,” said Paul B. Harding, Managing Partner of Martin, Harding & Mazzotti. “It is our hope that the Free Ride Campaign helps our neighbors secure a safe ride home instead of getting behind the wheel impaired.”
The law firm will once again be working in conjunction with Plattsburgh City Taxi.
The program starts at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, and runs through 2 a.m. Wednesday, March 18. Patrons who have had too much to drink can call 1-800-LAW-1010 to be connected to a Martin, Harding & Mazzotti representative. The representative will ask for the patron’s location and then send a cab. There will be no charge, no obligation and no questions asked.
