Spiritual Rez, Pulse Prophets & Strength In Numbers

    On Feb.5th 2009 Spiritual Rez descends on the city of Plattsburgh NY! Spiritual Rez has been doing their best to spread the feeling of positive grooves for years now and they are just now starting to get noticed by the mainstream of the reggae community. Spiritual Rez is a 7 piece band that focused on the positive. The group has been touring the United States for quite a while and on Feb. 5th 2009 the group is scheduled to touch down in the city of Plattsburgh NY.

The group is supported by Pulse Prophits a Vermont Reggae Funk Dance Band and Strength In Numbers A funky mesh of Hip Hop and Jazz that really gets the party going! The Pulse Prophets are an original socially conscious Groovemachine that really knows how to get the party jumpin'! Their influences include: Bob Marley, Spearhead, and the Talking Heads to name a few. 

The Pulse Prophets sound is an organic and celestial fusion of Funk, Reggae, Hip Hop, Latin, and Afro-beat, with a touch of Electronica. Strength In Numbers is an eclectic mix of hip-hop, funk, jazz, r&b, and good ol' ass-shakin' music the band has dubbed, 'Hip-Pop', will keep you on your feet and the edge of your seat all night. Led by saxophonist Bryan McNamara, Strength In Numbers is a 'family-band' experience like you've never seen. Strength In Numbers have been very active performing in Vermont, New Hampshire, upstate NY, and Montreal. They are scheduled to release their debut studio album in the Fall of '09 and are currently planning a spring and summer tour through out Canada and down the East coast.

     All of these Groups are coming to the great city of Plattsburgh on February 5th, 2009 (this Thursday) at Olive Ridley's !
