State investigators are on their way to the scene of a devastating fire that overtook the Comfort Inn and Suites of Plattsburgh, New York. The fire began at noon and continues to burn at this hour. Firefighters do have the blaze under control.

State police blocked traffic for the many area fire departments that responded to battle the blaze. Reports are that the fire began around the pool area.
